My friends and I went around many neighborhoods in Fremont, California and sold notebooks to families and used that money to donate to setup mini libraries in small schools in India.
Project : Fight San Jose Hunger
When: June 2020
Impact: Raised funds to feed 120 homeless people in San Jose

My brother and I helped my mom and Lily aunty stitch and sell cloth masks during COVID lock down. We both helped cut cloth material , stack the needles, package the masks, walk and bike in the neighborhood for home delivery.
Project : Support victims of human trafficking

Impact: Raised funds to support 60 girls recover from trafficking in India

My friends and I sold home grown persimmons to families in the neighborhood and to the cricket and soccer teams who play in the park behind our house. We used the money raised to donate to “Prajwala” an organization that helps victims of human trafficking.
