Chirag is a non-profit, charity organization that strives to provide basic necessities and education for underprivileged children. We take a needs based approach in determining our geographical focus with respect to key projects. Chirag is a registered 501[(c)(3)] non-profit organization.

“Chirag” means
Chirag (pronounced “chi-raag”) is a ancient Sanskrit (Indian) word that means ‘light’ or ‘flame.’ It can also mean the hope from a candle’s glow.
